SnowBomb Launches Rideshare Program for Many Tahoe Resorts - October 31, 2008

Collaborating with WolfSmith Media, SnowBomb releases the first round of its revamped rideshare program to the public. The purpose of the rideshare program is to promote carpooling to ski resorts in an effort to trim carbon footprints and parking issues for Lake Tahoe ski resorts. WolfSmith was brought on help create a modular, user-friendly version of the website so each participating resort could skin their own web site design and styling to the rideshare program. The result is a css driven site, that each ski resort can quickly and easily brand to reflect their own website. Many of ski resorts around Lake Tahoe large and small have joined the program. Participating resorts include Northstar at Tahoe, Sierra at Tahoe, Kirkwood, Squaw Valley USA, Heavenly, Alpine Meadows.

Sierra Business Council revamps website, offers online ease - September 25, 2008

Truckee, Calif. - Sierra Business Council recently launched a fresh design of their website www.sbcouncil.org. Created by local web design company, Wolfsmith Media, the site works to demonstrate its mission and project work to visitors and features a new online renewal system that allows members to divide their contributions into monthly payments.

The site also features a new blog for community development projects around the Sierra Nevada. This blog currently hosts a conversation about the Truckee Railyard Master Plan and the proposed benefits of redeveloping brownfield sites formerly at the core of Sierra industry.

Wolfsmith's new owner, Scott Bullard said, "The clean design & database organization made it really easy to integrate the new design with their existing information. This allowed for a really quick changeover."

After years of mainly static website content, the Truckee Trails Foundation has launched a new website intended for providing current trail conditions and organization news. Administrators for the Truckee Trails Foundation are able to maintain trail information keeping reports current, and can also upload trail pictures and maps directly to the page content.

When he hired WolfSmith Media to revamp his web site, Gary Grosjean had in mind a site which his customers would be motivated to return to again and again, so providing local information made perfect sense. Helping Women in the Lake Tahoe Area - September 17, 2007

Tahoe Women's Service, the Lake Tahoe organization which combats domestic violence, has launched their new web site. With a full content management system in place, they are able to control all of the information that is presented on their site. They are also now able to take online donations in any amount, and sell tickets to any of their fund raisers. The new site is quite an improvement over the old site, with a more attractive layout and flash animations and sideshows.

The information has been refined into easily viewable html pages, with a cleaner layout and more straightforward menu structure. A content management system was also put into place so that employees of the PUD can easily update website content, which will allow for more current information.
